IT’S THE LAW
DOT Shipping Labels can also be used as subsidiary hazard
class labels per DOT 49 CFR 172.402(b), which states “all labels
identifying subsidiary hazard classes must display the hazard
class or division number in the bottom point.”
*DOT shipping labels are
measured on the diagonal
sides of the label, not the
overall height and width.
